Laid off nothing to do....

Being laid off of work gives you alot of time. This time should be used wisely because if not you can get lost in another world. Structuring the day is very important as well as having a schedule for the family. If you don't do this you will find yoursel really depressed and not know why. It is hard to get out of the rut once your in it so there are a few things you can do to get out of it. 1. Force yourself up and play music to make it fun and in the mood. 2. Start early, do not sleep in anymore. 3. Make a list for the day and the week of what needs to be done and put time aside to do it and don't go over the time limit. 4. Make time for yourself at night so you can unwind befor bed, this is especially good if you have kids. 5. Plan a little time to hang with the girls to go for a walk, shopping or lunch. This will be enough to pull you out of your rut and get you going.

Innocence....

Innocent when I was a little girl: never known evil or wrong:   Then the devil came along and introduced himself and puncturing my shield and I became aware:   Aware of what has been inside me waiting to feed off the evil all around me that was shielded:  The shield of  Innocence that god has put around us a child:  We are already born in sin and it lays dormant until evil penetrates our armor of Innocence.

Is 30 really the new 20?

I am rapidly approaching 30 and I feel it. I think older people just say 30 the new 20 or 40 the new 30 etc... because they just don't want to get old. Learning to accept my age and ever changing body has brought me peace that I never thought I needed. Not accepting the fact of getting older kept me unsettled and always anxious. I am glad to accept getting older because now I discovered who I am. When people are younger that is when you are soul searching, so unless u want to soul search forever accept your age and be comfortable with who you are.

I am seriously tired of going out and the atmousphere is totally unbearable. I need space and a nice spot to chill when I am not dancing. There are few spots like this in NJ and Philly but the music is not that good. I need to vibe to some good hip hop, reggae as well as club music mixed really smoothly getting a good dose before switching styles, I need to get into and in order to do that they have to play a couple of songs in the same genera.

New season means new styles.
